No impact of monsoon on rural demand: Adi Godrej

There might be a revival of the monsoon in September, he added. "Lower output due to deficient monsoon will not affect the income of the rural masses as prices will make up for it. Despite the kharif crop not doing well, we expect the rabi crop to do well," Godrej said. The consumer products division of the Godrej Group grew by 22 per cent during the April-June period and in July-August the company hopes to do even better, he added.
